THAI TRANSLATION PROJECT $10,000 NZD
Current funding: Nil
Ginette Edmonds is a retired OMF missionary who spent twenty-five years serving in Thailand. In 2021, her book, No Matter What was published by Torn Curtain Publishing.
Thai believers who have seen a sample of the book in their own language are eager to read the full story.
In April 2024 Jeff and Anya McKee will attend a Christian publisher’s conference in Bangkok, where they will connect with potential Thai translators.
We would love you to partner with us to see this important story told so that another generation of Thai people will be impacted by the Gospel.
The Bolivia LeTTers LEGACY Project
Coming soon.
This 2-3 year project will bring together a dedicated team to research, write and publish the life story of an extraordinary missionary couple, Ned and Flora Meharg. We will produce a young adult biography (similar in style to the ‘Heroes of the Faith’ stories, and if funding allows, an illustrated children’s book told through the eyes of a Bolivian boy who encounters Ned and Flora for the first time. There are three key stages to the Bolivia Project:
Research and story development
Writing and Editing
Publication
i) Young adult biography
ii) Illustrated children’s book
Torn Curtain Publishing has been entrusted with more than 1000 letters handwritten by Ned Meharg, as well as a partially completed manuscript about the early life of Flora. These will become source material for the book/s, along with in-person interviews with Ned and Flora’s daughter, Pauline, who lives in Sydney, Australia.
